ACCI, (anc. geog.) a town of Tarraconensis, formerly called Albi; supposed to be Guadix, to the east of the city of Granada, at the foot of a mountain, near the source of the rivulet Guadlantín; now greatly decayed. It is the Colonia Accitana Gemella, and was of some repute among the Roman colonies. The people were called Gemellenenses, because the colony consisted of colonists from the third and sixth legions.
