ENONA (anc. geog.), a city of Liburnia, called by Pliny Civitas Praesini, the reason of which is unknown; also Enona, and is now called Nona; on the Adriatic, by which it is for the greater part surrounded; over-against the island Gissa, from which it is distant four miles to the west.
