NEFERN, in Pembrokeshire, a village in whose church-yard is a remarkable old cross. The church has no pavement in it, and the frequent burials have raised the ground within it to seven or eight feet higher than without. In process of time, instead of a church, it will be only a sepulchre. It is pleasantly situated on the banks of a river of the same name near Newport.
