NABLUM, in Hebrew, Nedel, was an instrument of music among the Jews. It had strings like the harp, and was played upon by both hands. Its form was that of a Greek h. In the Septuagint and Vulgate, it is called nablum, psalterion, lyra; and sometimes cutbara.
