NEHOW

NEHOW, one of the Sandwich Islands, discovered by Captain Cook in his last voyage to the Pacific Ocean: they are eleven in number, and are situated from $18^\{\backslash circ\}\; 45\text{'}$ to $22^\{\backslash circ\}\; 15\text{'}$ N. Lat. and from $154^\{\backslash circ\}\; 56\text{'}$ to $160^\{\backslash circ\}\; 24\text{'}$ W. Long. They are not very particularly described in any account that has hitherto appeared.
