OCULUS, the EYES, in anatomy. See there, n° 142.

Oculus Belli, in natural history, one of the semi-pellucid gems, of a greyish white colour, variegated with yellow and with a black central nucleus: it is of a roundish form, and its variegations very beautifully represent the pupil and iris of the eye; whence the name.

Oculus Mundi, or Lapis Mutabilis. See HYDROPHANES.

Oculus Ceti. See ASTERIA.
