QUISQUALIS, in botany: A genus of the monogynia order, belonging to the decandria class of plants; and in the natural method ranking under the 31st order, Vespicula. The calyx is quinquefid and filiform; the petals five; the fruit is a quinqueangular plum. There is only one species, viz. INDICA.
