POLLICARIA, in botany: A genus of the monogynia order, belonging to the monandria class of plants; and in the natural method ranking with those that are doubtful. Of this there is only one species, viz. the campestris, or whorl-leaved pollicaria, a native of the Cape of Good Hope, and flowers in September.
