STELLERA, GERMAN GROUNDSSEL, in botany: A genus of plants belonging to the class of ollandria, and order of monogynia; and in the natural system arranged under the 31st order, Vesprecula. There is no calyx. The corolla is quadrifid. The stamens are very short. There is only one seed, which is black. The species are two in number, passerina and chamaejasme.
