SOLDANELLA, in botany: A genus of plants belonging to the class of pentandria, and order of monogynia; and in the natural system arranged under the 21st order, Præcie. The corolla is campanulated; the border being very finely cut into a great many segments. The capsule is unilocular, and its apex polydentate.
