SCHEUUCHZERIA, in botany: A genus of the trigynia order, belonging to the hexandria class of plants; and in the natural method ranking under the fifth order, Tripelatoidea. The calyx is sexpartite; there is no corolla, nor are there any styles; there are three inflated and monospermous capsules.
