ROTTBELLIA, in botany; a genus of the digynia order, belonging to the triandria class of plants. The rachis is jointed, roundish, and in many cases filiform; the calyx is ovate, lanceolate, flat, simple, or bipartite; the florets are alternate on the winding rachis.
