QUEEN-Gold, is a royal duty or revenue belonging to
to every queen of England during her marriage to the king, payable by persons in this kingdom and Ireland, on divers grants of the king by way of fine and oblation, &c. being one full tenth part above the entire fines, on pardons, contracts, or agreements, which becomes a real debt to the queen, by the name of aurum regine, upon the party's bare agreement with the king for his fine, and recording the same.
