ARCO, a strong town and castle in the Trentin, belonging to the house of Austria. It was taken by the French in 1703, and abandoned soon after. It stands on the river Sarca, near the north extremity of the lake Garda. E. Long. 4. 15. N. Lat. 45. 52.
