ANNANO, a strong fort of Italy, in the duchy of Milan.

Annapolis Milan. It has been twice taken by the French; but was restored to the duke of Savoy in 1706. It is situated on the river Tanaro, in E. Long. 8. 30. N. Lat. 44. 40.
