ALBIOECE, or ALEBECE (Pliny, Strabo); otherwise called Reii Apollinæres, from their superstitious worship of Apollo; also Civitas Reienfium; now Riez, in Provence, about 18 leagues to the north-east of Toulon, on the north side of the rivulet Verdon; was originally a Roman colony (Inscription).
