ALGOL

ALGOL, a fixed star of the third magnitude, called Medusa's Head, in the constellation Perseus. Its longitude is $21^\{\backslash circ\}\; 50\text{'}\; 42\text{'}\text{'}$ of Taurus, and its latitude $23^\{\backslash circ\}\; 23\text{'}\; 47\text{'}\text{'}$ north; according to Flamsteed's catalogue.
