MOULDS, in the manufacture of paper, are little frames composed of several braids or iron wires, fastened together by another wire still finer. Each mould is of the bigness of the sheet of paper to be made, and has a rim or ledge of wood to which the wires are fastened. These moulds are more usually called frames or forms. See PAPER-MAKING.
