NEHOW

NEHOW, one of the Sandwich islands, discovered by Captain Cook in his last voyage to the Pacific ocean: these islands are eleven in number, and are situated from $18^\{\backslash circ\}\; 44\text{'}$ to $22^\{\backslash circ\}\; 15\text{'}$ N. Lat. and from $154^\{\backslash circ\}\; 56\text{'}$ to $165^\{\backslash circ\}\; 24\text{'}$ W. Long.
