LANCARIM SPRING, the name of a mineral water of Glamorganhire. It has its name from a town near which it rises; and has been long famous for the cure of the king's evil. The spring is very clear, and rises out of a pure white marl. The cures that have been performed there, are proofs of a real power in the water. The persons who come for relief not only drink of the spring, but also bathe the part affected afterwards in the water.
