Coptic BIBLES.—There are several manuscript copies of the Coptic Bible in some of the great libraries, especially in that of the French king. Dr. Wilkins published the Coptic New Testament in 4to in the year 1716, and the Pentateuch also in 4to in 1734, with Latin translations. He reckons these versions to have been made in the end of the second, or the beginning of the third century.
