AUGUSTORITUM, in Ancient Geography, according to some authors, the capital of the Pictones, afterwards called Pictavi; now Poitiers. But by Antonine's Itinerary from Burdigala to Argantomagus (or Argenton, as it is interpreted by many), it can be no other but the capital of the Lemovices, now Limoges, situated between Vesunna of the Petrocorii, or Perigeux, and Argantomagus. E. Long. 1. 22. Lat. 45. 52.
