GRANADA, a town of Mexico, in America, in the province of Nicaragua, and in the audience of Guatemala, seated on the lake Nicaragua, 70 miles from the South sea. It was taken twice by the French buccaneers, and pillaged. The inhabitants carry on a great trade by means of the lake, which communicates with the North sea. W. Long. 87. 46. N. Lat. 10. 12.
