Eyesmouth Wick, from which place it is distant six miles. W. Long. 1. 50. N. Lat. 55. 50. It gave title of baron in the kingdom of Scotland to Churchill, afterwards the great duke of Marlborough; but he having no male issue, it became extinct. Population 962 in 1811.
