CORONARIÆ, in Botany, the 10th order of plants in Linnaeus's Fragments of a Natural Method. Under this name, instead of the more obvious one libacœa, Linnaeus collects a great number of genera, most of which furnish very beautiful garden flowers, viz. albuca, cyanella, fritillaria, belonias, hyacinthus, hypoxis, lilium, melanthium, ornithogalum, scilla, tulipa, agave, aletris, aloe, anthericum, asphodelus, bromelia, burmannia, hemerocallis, polyanthes, tillandsia, veratrum, yucca.
