PELASGICUM (Pausanias, Pliny); the north wall of Athens; so called from the builders, the Pelasgi. There was an exclamation pronounced on any that should build houses under this wall, because the Pelasgi, while dwelling there, entered into a conspiracy against the Athenians (Thucydides).
