CACHAN, or CASHAN, a considerable town of Persia, in Irae Agemi, where they carry on an extensive trade in silks, silver, and gold brocades, and fine earthen ware. It is situated in a vast plain, 55 miles from Isphahan. E. Long. 50. 2. N. Lat. 34. 10.
