CAPH, a Jewish measure of capacity for things,
estimated by Kimchi at the 30th part of the log, by
Arbuthnot at the 16th part of the hin or 32d of the
seal, amounting to five-eighths of an English pint. The
caph does not occur in Scripture, as the name of any
measure.
