BETHAGLA, or BETH-HAGLA, in Ancient Geography, a town of the tribe of Benjamin (Joshua xviii. 21.). In Jerome's time there was a village called Agla, ten miles from Eleutheropolis, towards Gaza, and supposed to be Bethagia.
