ATTIRE, in hunting, signifies the head or horns of a deer. The attire of a stag, if perfect, consist of bur, pearls, beam, gutters, antler, sur-antler, royal, sur-royal, and crotchets; of a buck, of the bur, beam, brow-antler, advancer, palm, and spellers.
