Kent II. Kerguelen's Land. The sea-shores in this county invite numerous visitors, who frequent and fill various towns during the warm months of summer. The principal of these are Margate, Ramsgate, and Broadstairs; but, besides these, many of the smaller places on the coast are resorted to for purposes of health or amusement. On the western side of the county, the waters of Tunbridge have been long celebrated; and though the influence of fashion has erected into rivals several other spas, yet the company that still resort to it is both numerous and respectable.
