ÆGITHALLUS, in Ancient Geography, a promontory and citadel of Sicily, between Drepanum and the Emporium Ægitanum, afterwards called Æccllus; corruptly written Ægithurfor, in Ptolemy; situated near Mount Eryx, and now called Capo di Santo Teodoro.
