ALLAHABAD, in Geography, a province of Hindostan, about 160 miles in length, and 120 in breadth. 11,375 cavalry. Azuph Dowla, a tributary ally of Allamands the British power, possesses the greater part of this province. Allahabad, Benares, and Iconpaur, are the principal cities.
