BRUSSELS, the quarter or district of, is one of the four parts of the duchy of Brabant. This quarter is bounded on the east by that of Louvain; on the north by that of Antwerp; on the west by Flanders; and on the south by Hamault. Brussels is the capital city of this quarter and all Brabant.
