BRIGANTIA, or BRIGANTIUM, in Ancient Geography, a town of Vindelicia; now Bregenz, in Tyrol, at the east end of the lake of Constance.—Another Brigantium in the Alpes Cottiae; which last is probably Briançon, a town on the borders of Dauphiny.
