NAVA, in Ancient Geography, (Tacitus); a river of Belgica, which runs north-east into the left or west side of the Rhine. Now the Nahe, rising at the village Naheweler, on the borders of the bishopric of Trier, running through the Lower Palatinate, the duchy of Simmern, by the small town of Bing, into the Rhine.
