NEWBOROUGH, or NEWBURGH, in the isle of Anglesey, North Wales, distant from London 254 miles, though but a small town, situated over against Caernarvon in North Wales, about 17 miles south-west from Beaumaris, is governed by a mayor, two bailiffs, and a recorder. Its Welsh name is Rhosfir, or Rhofoir.
