CAPITOLINUS, JULIUS, an historian in the beginning of the fourth age under Diocletian, to whom he inscribed the Lives of Verus, Antoninus Pius, Claudius Balbinus, Macrinus, the Maximins, and the Gordians. He wrote other lives, which are most of them lost.
