WEINMANNIA, a genus of plants of the class oflandria, order monogynia, and arranged in the natural classification with those plants the order of which is doubtful. The calyx is four-leaved, the corolla has four petals, and the capsule is bilocular and birostrated. There are six species, none of which are natives of Britain.
