INTERAMNA, in Ancient Geography, so called from its situation between rivers, or in an island in the river Nar; a town of the Cisalpine Umbria. Interamnates the people; furnished Nartes by Pliny, to distinguish them from the people of other Interamnæ. Now Terai: a town in the pope's territory in Umbria. E. Long. 13. 38. N. Lat. 42. 40.
