ATEGUA, or ATTEUGA, an ancient town of Spain, placed by some in the road from Antiquara, now Antequera, to Hípalis, or Seville; by others near Alcala Real; which last is the more probable situation, because the Flumen Sallum, now the Salado, was in its neighbourhood. Now Tebala Vieja, or Tervela.
