BETHAGLO, or BETH-HAGLA, in Ancient Geography, a town of the tribe of Benjamin (Joshua xviii. 21.). In Jerome's time there was a village called Ayla, ten miles from Eleutheropolis, towards Gaza, and supposed to be Bethagla.
