ANTANDROS, in Ancient Geography, a town of Myfia, on the sea coast, at the foot of Mount Alexandria, a part of Mount Ida, (Strabo, Ptolemy): it was a town of the Leleges, (Strabo); anciently called Edonis, then Cimmeris, (Pliny, Stephanus.) It takes its name from Antandros, a general of the Æolians: it is now called S. Dimitri.
