ANTINOEIA, in Antiquity, annual sacrifices, and quinquennial games, in memory of Antinous the Bithynian. They were instituted at the command of Adrian, the Roman emperor, at Mantinea, in Arcadia, where Antinoas was honoured with a temple and divine worship.
