Litany. of the Boii, in Gallia Togata, or Cispadana, where the Romans, under I. Posthumius Albinus (whose head the Boii cut off, and carried in triumph into their most sacred temple), had a great defeat; of twenty-five thousand scarcely ten escaping (Livy).
