LOVENTINUM, or LUENTINUM, in Ancient Geography, a town of the Demeta in Britain, near the mouth of the Tuerobis or Tivy. Supposed to have been afterwards swallowed up by an earthquake, and to have flooded where is now the lake called Llin Savatan in Brecknockshire.
