COMMODIANUS, GAZEUS, a Christian author in the 4th century, who wrote a work in Latin verse, entitled Instructio; the moral of which is excellent, but the verse extremely heavy. M. Davies published a fine edition of it in 1711, at the end of Minucius Felix.
