CONOVUM, in Ancient Geography, a town of the Ordovices, in Britain. From its ruins arose, at the distance of four miles, Aberconvey, the mouth of the Convey, in Caernarvonshire; and on the spot where Conovum stood is a hamlet, called Caerbean, the old town (Camden).
