DIANE ARBOR, or ARBOR LUNÆ, in Chemistry, the beautiful arborecent form of silver, dissolved in nitric acid, and precipitated by another metal; so called from its resembling the trunk, branches, leaves, &c. of a tree. See CHEMISTRY INDEX.
