ALTGEORGESWALDE, a town in the circle of Leitmeritz, in the Austrian kingdom of Bohemia. It contains 508 houses and 3674 inhabitants. The whole town belongs to Count Harrach; and under his patronage considerable manufactures have been established, of linen, hosiery, and cordage.
